The Soul 2 Soul painting depicts people of various, talents and
personalities connected through the city, music, and culture.
Combined is displays the power of community.
Model/ people. inspiration
Christopher bison: Artist, Sculptor, lumberjack , businessman,
Audi car salesman, Chicago native, epic father , childhood friend.
Son of immigrant parents . He is swinging the wet paint roller/ sledgehammer
to represent the idea of breaking through psychological barriers .
Takalayah and pearly: Rahmaan Statiks daughter . She has a glowing heart and
a Pug dog on her shoulder. She is also looking back and up to the adults
and art institute lion an optimism wow moving forward into the future with
the power of love. She is there also to represent a brighter future for Chicago's
Youth, humility , innocence, and new ideas.
Saudia : Career social worker on the southwest side of Chicago . working with
senior citizens , at-risk youth, and low-income families, currently operating with
the nonprofit Iman. Providing work opportunities and housing. Latino heritage,
active Muslim. Working mom mother of three. Currently married . Chicago native.
She is large in scale to represent the idea of the caring , wise , working mother
. watching over the city.
Pugs atoms: musician /Rapper, all around visual artist. Founder of Nacrobats crew/ collective.

Nathan Mason: Sculptor, art historian, public art curator and commissioner
for the city of Chicago 30+ years .
Atiyah :
first responder , respiratory therapist during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Chicago resident. Working mom. Freelance photographer. She is holding and listening to a
stethoscope representing her hearing the heartbeat all the world. She is also depicted in the mural to pay homage to First Responders during being coronavirus pandemic. @drmartensusa

Content description .
Madvillian
West wall. Image of Mad Lib and Quasimoto. Are depicted to represent beat-making,
sampling, and the sound of rap music . Some of the props in the scene is an MPC, crates
of Records, speakers, and the large electric piano / Ensoniq ASR 10.
The MADVILLIAN graffiti style in whites and greys meeting the ground combines both walls by using the title of the joint project between MF Doom and Madlib. Also, the Green Halo behind Mad Lib's head spells out 'America's most blunted' in graffiti letters, this is also a joint project between MF Doom and Madlib.
